Urban Tides: Supporting Shoreline Science as We Plan for the Future
Join us Thursday, February 15th to hear Linda Chilton, the USC Sea Grant Education Programs Manager, speak about Southern California’s changing coastline and how the Urban Tides Community Science Initiative is helping further the dialogue about how we can adapt to rising seas.
Urban Tides is a community based science effort that documents current tidal lines, beach erosion, and coastal flooding in Southern California. Join us to learn more about how you can help document the impacts of rising sea levels in our community.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Presentation begins at 7:00pm.
